I am a transformational sobriety coach and the founder of The Sober Ascent. My program is designed to help women rebuild their identity, regulate their emotions, and thrive in a life they no longer want to escape.
After overcoming my own decade-long battle with alcohol and the emotional aftermath that followed, I realized sobriety wasn’t the finish line - it was the beginning of discovering who I truly was. I created The Sober Ascent, where my mission is to empower women in early sobriety to reclaim their sense of self, regulate their nervous system, and create a grounded, fulfilling life that supports lasting sobriety and self-worth.

Experience Drives Transformation.
Lasting change comes from lived experiences, evidence-based practices, and deep emotional work.
After years of hiding, I entered rehab—and that moment changed everything. I thought getting sober would be the finish line. Instead, it was the beginning of learning how to live. The first months out were raw and disorienting - grappling with identity loss, emotional highs and lows, and the question, “Who am I without alcohol?”
Sobriety forced me to face the parts of myself I had spent years running from. I had to rebuild from the inside out—learning how to regulate my nervous system, rewrite the beliefs that kept me small, and build new habits rooted in self-worth and safety. Through practices like EFT tapping, journaling, and daily gratitude, I discovered emotional freedom, confidence, and peace I didn’t know were possible.
That inner work began transforming every area of my life. My anxiety lifted. I felt grounded and present with my children instead of distracted or numb. My marriage deepened as I learned how to communicate and connect from a place of safety rather than fear. I rebuilt my confidence, earned promotions at work, and eventually found the courage to leave corporate America to follow my true purpose. My health improved, my energy returned, and for the first time, I felt genuinely proud of the woman I was becoming.
That journey became the foundation of The Sober Ascent—a structured roadmap to help women move beyond mere sobriety into genuine fulfillment and self-trust.
I began drinking in my early 20s to quiet pain, anxiety, and deep feelings of unworthiness. For nearly a decade, I appeared successful on the outside - married, educated, thriving in corporate America - but inside, I was quietly falling apart. I hid my drinking from everyone, carrying deep shame and the belief that if anyone knew the truth, they’d judge me harshly and see me as broken. Alcohol became my escape from anxiety, perfectionism, and pain I didn’t yet know how to feel.
